My Story ...
Originally from Uruguay, South America, I carry a rich cultural heritage with Spanish, Italian, and Austrian roots.
Alongside me in this global journey is my husband, a native of Spain.
Our daughter, Julieta, embodies the essence of a Third Culture Kid (TCK). Born in Barcelona, Spain, she embarked on a nomadic life at just one year old, moving to Brazil. By the age of three, she was navigating kindergarten in the Flemish region of Belgium, becoming fluent in Dutch while maintaining Spanish at home.
Our family's journey continued as we embraced new horizons, leading us to Seoul, South Korea, when Julieta turned eight. There, she immersed herself in the French School, acquiring proficiency in French, English, and Korean, epitomizing the diverse experiences that come with a TCK upbringing.
With over 24 years as an expatriate, living in various countries across three continents, I have cultivated a deep understanding of the challenges and enriching opportunities that come with navigating diverse cultures.
As a coach and therapist studying psychology, my approach draws from a blend of methodologies, including Transactional Analysis (TA), trauma, and embodied coaching (EC).
Transactional Analysis, rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and psychoanalysis, serves as the foundation for my communication, therapy-coaching, and leadership model. Meanwhile, my training in trauma and embodied coaching brings a unique perspective, delving into the effects on the nervous system and stress patterns, grounded in the latest findings from neuroscience.
This wealth of personal and professional experiences equips me to guide individuals through the complexities of expatriate life, facilitating their personal and professional growth in the ever-evolving landscape of diverse cultures.
